DTS Entertainment has released Jeff Trott's "Dig Up The Astroturf" as a hybrid DVD-A/V. This disc marks the first time ever that a pop composer has written songs intentionally for 5.1 Surround sound playback. The disc includes 5.1 MLP for DVD Audio players, and 5.1 DTS for DVD Video players. Also included is a 2.0 PCM Stereo for all DVD Video players, and additional bonus video material. The disc was produced by Jeff Trott, Mixed by David Tickle (at Avalon Studios), mastered by Adam Ayan at Gateway Mastering & DVD, and designed & authored by Brian Lee at Gateway Mastering & DVD.
