Coldplay, mastered at Gateway Mastering & DVD, is #1 around the world!
The press has reported that the new Coldplay album, Viva la Vida scored first-week CD sales of 721,000 in the United States alone and estimate around 288,000 legal digital album downloads. Apple confirmed that both the pre-sales and first week digital album sales smashed all records on iTunes. The single and album were also #1 in the UK.
Bob Ludwig mastered the record over the course of many days with singer/songwriter Chris Martin in attendance supervising the sessions.
