The 48th annual Grammy nominations are announced and 19 recordings mastered at Gateway Mastering Studios are up for 32 Grammy nominations.


The 19 recordings that are nominated are

For years mastering engineers were only eligible for certificates if they were involved in a recording.  Several years ago mastering engineers on historical re-issues were awarded physical Grammy statuettes and more recently mastering engineers can win with the “Album Of The Year” and “Surround Sound” categories.  Adam is up for the Jelly Roll Morton historical re-issue and Bob is up for Foo Fighters and Dire Straits for the Surround Sound Category.
